1.ACCOUNTANT

1.1.Main Purpose of the Job

Designs, revises and implements accounting systems and procedures of the company policies. The Accountant will also provide assistance to the Finance Manager in the management of the company’s finances as well as providing financial advice. 

1.2.Key Performance Areas and Responsibilities

•Prepare payroll and pay slips
•Create and modify documents such as invoices, reports, memos, letters and financial statements
•Compile, analyze, reconcile and verify financial and statistical data
•Reviews and prepares financial statements and accounting reports
•Purchase goods and services within established limits
•Approves direct purchases of commodities and services on a selective basis
•Contact suppliers for price quotes, prepare requisitions and affixes authorizing signature before ordering
•Be competent on Quickbooks and pastel
•Competent in BURS, TAX, VAT procedures

1.3.Education and Experience

•Candidates should have at least a Diploma and or Degree in ACCA, and or CIMA qualification
