Westat is seeking an experienced clinical research associate/site monitor for studies conducted in South Africa, Botswana, and other African countries. Responsibilities include conducting clinical site monitoring visits and completing reports. A strong interest in, and aptitude for, research monitoring and quality control are essential. Attention to detail, a commitment to quality, excellent communication skills, and an interest in research methods are required. Qualified candidates will have a minimum of a bachelor's degree, preferably in nursing or another health-related field, plus site monitoring experience. Must be available to travel at least 10 days per month. Position will be based in Africa, preferably Botswana.
