INTERPOL is now looking for one qualified candidate as Systems Analyst within the Information Systems and Technology Directorate.

Introduction of post:
Under the responsibility of the Head of System Branch the holder of the post, is responsible of the smooth operation, maintenance and evolution of all systems infrastructure of the INTERPOL Cloud and remote sites, in accordance with established Service Level Agreements

1 PRIMARY DUTIES
 1. Daily smooth operation of all systems:
Troubleshoots the systems infrastructure, including hardware, virtualization infrastructure, storage infrastructure, Messaging and collaboration systems, Account and ID management systems and make corrective actions when necessary.
Participates in 24x7 on-call rotation.
Deals with any incidents on systems and servers.
Monitors systems and applications and implements actions to resolve potential problems proactively.

2. Design and implementation of solution & architecture systems:
Implements system architectures, hardware and related software configuration, assisted by System Technician, in collaboration with Database Analyst or any other IS team member.
Tests and validates system versions prior to implementation.
Conducts feasibility studies and writes under the supervision of the Head of System Branch, technical specifications for call for tender
Monitors security and proposes solutions

3. Knowledge and understanding of new technologies:
Maintains current, knowledge of hardware, software and systems technology and recommends modifications as necessary
Perform any other duties as required by the supervisor.

2 REQUIREMENTS
All candidates will be assessed on the requirements defined below.
2.1 Training/Education 
University degree in computer science, Engineering or equivalent field is preferred
VMware or Microsoft  Certifications

2.2 Languages
Professional English with a good command of at least another INTERPOL official languages

2.3 Experience 
Minimum of 5 year experience with design and operation of MS active directory infrastructure across various sites.
Minimum of 5 year experience with design and operation of Microsoft Exchange 2013, SMTP gateways, and Mobile Device management systems

2.4 Specific skills
In depth understanding of Windows fundamentals including IIS, NTFS permissions, Active Directory, GPO
Strong understanding of VMware vSphere and ESXi technologies: VCD, SRM, vCOPS, AutoDeploy, Distributed Switches
Experience with VDI technologies required (VMware View or other virtual desktop infrastructure)
Working knowledge of data center management concepts and practices
Experience with Enterprise SAN/NAS administration with installation/Configuration/ Troubleshooting/Tuning
Knowledge of Netapp storage will be a plus. Experience with scripting (VBScript, Powershell, etc..)
Familiarity with DHCP, DNS, RDS and Certificate Services Experience with monitoring and analytics tools such as PRTG, Nagios, Cacti, Splunk
Hardware skills from server installation and configuration
Basic networking understanding of firewalls and load balancers
Working Knowledge of Linux operating systems
Troubleshooting and Very good analysis skills Knowledge of ITIL methodologies and practices

3 WORKING CONDITIONS
Remuneration for appointment on contract: The starting salary for Grade 5 is 3 479 € per month for a step 1.

This post requires occasional travel on missions, sometimes of a long duration and at short notice.
he incumbent will also be required to work occasional overtime based upon workload.
