VACANCY CIRCULAR NO: 7 of 2014 PART - TIME LECTURER (DEMOGRAPHY)

REMUNERATION: P75.00 per hour of teaching .

PERIOD: Five months (July to November 2014) – 2 hours/week

QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences (Demography or Population Studies) or a related field from a recognized institution. Masters of Demography or Population Studies will be an added advantage.

EXPERIENCE: At least 2 years post qualification experience in a related field.

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB: Participate in designing, developing, implementing and evaluating curricula for various programmes at the Institute.

DUTIES:
1. Provide instruction in research and assist students in developing research proposals.
2. Monitor the progress of students and provide appropriate counseling.
3. Mark the final proposal
