Distribution Services Manager

The role

Manage and operate the assigned distribution network in the assigned region. Ensure continuous service within the agreed service levels and to continuously realize efficiency improvements.Strategically plan and prepare the infrastructure, business and operational processes and operational functions for growth and operational effectiveness for the Distribution Services.The Distribution Services Manager is also responsible for managing the size and footprint of parts (and relevant consumables) inventories across the assigned geography.This will include all Parts inventories unless specific exclusions are agreed separately.

Your profile

• More than 5 years General International Management Experience (management of larger multinational and multicultural teams of people and influence within a management team)
• Strong background and working knowledge of Parts and/or Logistics operations.
• Strong Knowledge of Logistics Systems and Supply Chain Management
• Strong Knowledge of ERP systems and business management tools (System 21/ Aurora / Maximo, etc.)
• Working knowledge of competence management
• Good general business acumen
• Good exposure to construction and mining industry or other Business-to-Business related
