SAMPLE PREPARATION ANALYST
The incumbent will be responsible for preparing samples from Geology, Concentrator, Smelter and external clients with various techniques before submission for analytical work. Perform tests for moisture and particle size distribution on samples. The duties will include:
Particle size determination
Sample preparation of plant feeds and process streams
Preparation of sample composites
Moisture determination in plant feeds and products
EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
O level (Form 5). Knowledge of laboratory equipment use will be an added advantage.
Two years or more experience in the sample preparation laboratory/ Certificate in laboratory technician
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES
