Preliminary Graders
Job Purpose
If you’re selected for this wonderful opportunity you will receive hands-on training for 3-6 months on diamond grading. The training is done as a group in a classroom environment, as well as, hands-on. Once you have successfully completed the training, you will be expected to;
Responsibilities will include the following:
• Accurately identify and document clarity characteristics on a plot diagram, assigning polish, symmetry, clarity within the Grading System.
• Making evaluations under a microscope
• View and analyze the object using a microscope while con-currently you constantly grasping, gripping and/or turning small objects with appropriate tools, at the same time intermittently and repetitively using a computer mouse to plot inclusions on computerized diagrams.
• Periodically adjust the microscope.
• Utilizes electronic reference tools and clarity master library to apply appropriate grading techniques.
• Receive and apply constructive criticism and feedback to the diamond grading process.
• Participate in continual learning to improve grading skills and adapt procedural updates.

Education & Experience
The right candidate will possess at least one year working experience in any industry and be in possession of a Diploma in any discipline with proven basic computer skills, as well as, experience in working in a multicultural environment. Preference will be given to Science related disciplines.
