Context
The Operational Centre Geneva (OCG), with an annual average growth of more than 10% and a supply budget of CHF 60M in 2015, foresees continuing growth in the coming years.
To meet these operational, human resource and financial challenges, the OCG has set up a Supply Unit, with a view to optimize the management flows (goods, information and financial) and supply processes (internal and external). The final aim is to ensure a sustainable and efficient MSF Supply Chain to support OCG strategy.
Your Mission
You will coordinate the Flying Supply Referents (4 persons) as the first line support to the key field and HQ supply actors (Supply Managers and Log Cell Referents) under the direction of the Head of the Supply Unit.
You will continue to improve the supply within the missions, providing recommendations and implementation support on strategies, policies and training adapted to the evolution of their needs and the policies of intervention defined by the department of the Operations.
You will be responsible supply chain quality and efficiency for our field projects, providing continuous expert answers on supply and specific demands including staff’s plan of career.
You will be the privileged operational and technical interlocutor of the Flying Supply Referents and work in association with the Field Supply Advisor, the Operations, Logistics, Medical, Finance, Human Resources and the Information/Technology departments.
Your Profile
- You have a Master in Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
- You possess MSF field experience and professional experience within supply chain management.
- You are familiar with the data-processing tools.
- You are able to travel.
- Diplomatic, open, ability to listen.
- Rigorous, organized, high level of initiative.
- You are fluent in French and English – read, spoken, written.
Terms of Employment
- Permanent contract (CDI), full time position (100%)
- Based in Geneva, with frequent travels to the field and Europe
- Ideal starting date: 17th August 2015
- Annual gross salary : CHF 89’604.-
