Job Purpose
This role is a direct report to the Chief Risk Officer supporting all risk departments: corporate credit, retail credit, financial crime, fraud, market risk, and operational risk.
- Overall accountability is primarily to the BBB CRO with secondary accountability to the BAGL Risk COO.
- Central to the role is to provide senior leadership of Organisational, operational, people and process transformation for the relevant Risk team.
- Responsible for management of Risk reporting and MI that delivers risk reporting MI and metrics for Botswana and to external regulators.
- Supports the implementation of best practices and transformation plans (including linking BBB transformation with transformation initiatives championed by the various risk global shared services).
- Ensures delivery of services in line with agreed service levels
- Lead/support delivery of major regulatory and data Programmes
- Cost, FTE and Business Management for the Risk Function
- Organisation, people and process transformation

Essential/Basic Qualifications
- B-degree in Risk, Finance or any related (NQF level 6)
- 5 years (Financial services industry) experience
- Proven delivery on growth objectives in a Corporate business
- Proven track record of mobilising and inspiring high performing teams to deliver on strategic objectives
