DEPUTY MANAGER - MOTSWEDI SACCOS

Motswedi SACCOS is looking for a dynamic, self-motivated candidate for the role of Deputy Manager in Gaborone. The Deputy Manager will provide leadership, formulation and implementation of sound HR and financial policies as well as assisting the Manager with general management of the society.

Requirements

Key Areas of Responsibility include:

• Financial Management
• Budgeting and trend forecasting
• Preparing for audit process in the society
• Advising Management on financial viability of investment proposals
• Developing and maintaining financial controls to mitigate risks
• Human Resources
• Prepares Labour Forecast Plan/Manpower Planning
• Manages the recruitment, selection and placement of staff
• Monitors and evaluates performance of staff
• Develops and implements staff training plan
• Manages staff welfare and employee relations
• General Office Management
• Manages office administrative and operational functions of the society
• Manages and monitors the procurement process in the society
• Oversees and controls office operations and records management unit
• Supervises and coordinates service providers
• Manages contractual relations with service providers
• Supervision of projects

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor Degree in Finance and HR, Business Admin or any business related Degree.
• Minimum of 6 years relevant experience, at least 2 years must be in a supervisory position.
• Experience in financial institutions will be an advantage.

Salary: P198 000 to P216 000 per annum
