1.JUNIOR NURSES (X 10), 8 months FTC
1.1.Job purpose
The posts are available in Kanye, Molepolole, Palapye, Serowe, Bobonong, Maun, Mogoditshane, Mochudi, Gaborone, Ghanzi
1.2.Key Performance Areas
•Educate participants about XPRES (a study implented primarily by CDC Botswana in collaboration with BUP and the Botswana government)
•Recruit individuals into the study
•Collection of socio-behavioral data and patient vital signs
•Maintain accurate and complete data collection using case report forms
•Maintain research specimens (example sputum collection)
•Collaborate and work closely with CDC Botswana staff and government staff in clinics and labs: communicate frequently & effectively
•Participate in research results dissemination
1.3.Qualifications & Experience
•Diploma/Degree in Nursing from a recognized institution
•At leas 2-4 years work experience as a nurse in Botswana.
•Experience in scientific research and or strong computer skills will be an added advantage
