Director of Strategic Communications - Southern Africa

Abt Associates seeks a Director of Strategic Communications for the anticipated USAID-funded Southern Africa Trade and Investment Hub Project. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
  • At least seven years of work expeirence in a related field;
  • Proven experience contributing to the design and/or implementation of a (local or national) government strategic communications strategy; and
  • A graduate degree in a relevant discipline such as public relations, mass communications, public policy, or journalism.
Minimum Qualifications MA/MBA with 7 - 10 years of experience OR PhD with 4 - 6 years of experience OR the equivalent combination of education and experience.
