The candidate will be responsible for leading and strategically growing our full scope of Measurement & Control Solutions products and Services in Central Africa Region. The Sales Manager is responsible for the effective and profitable management of assigned customer accounts. In this role he/she will be primarily focused on growing and maintaining existing accounts. He/she will also work with current customers to provide value and meet service needs. | |
* Self starter, responsible for driving orders and sales through new and existing clients; * Develop and execute territory and specific account sales plans; * Accountability to deliver on commitments and communicate progress, needs, and strategies to win in a competitive landscape, meet/exceed sales target; * Be knowledgeable of competitive and market environment; * Customer centric mind set focused on building and improving customer relationships and utilizing value selling of our technologies to make a difference; * Create and drive process changes to develop winning strategies and order closure; * Cultivate long term relationships at all levels of customer organization; * Responsible for managing and developing channel partners within assigned geography. | |
* Minimum of a B.Sc. degree in preferably a technical engineering qualification/degree; * Proven technical and commercial sales experience as an individual contributor; * Strong communication and presentation skills; * Outstanding interpersonal skills that enable working relationships externally (customers) and internally and a strong team player; * Able to work effectively in a multi-cultural environment; * Fluent in English; *A proven background in the oil & gas industry (OEM,manufacturing and process industry with end users, engineering firms and manufacturers of around 5 years, with a minimum of 3 years in preferably within a similar sales role; • Must have local market knowledge and understanding. | |
