JOB PURPOSE
•The job holder will manage a team of two people to provide data analysis, report generation (MIS), data cleansing/ownership to support each Value Center in the Retail Clients business. •Evaluate, develop and manage the MIS needs of the business and proactively guide the business by providing timely MIS for strategic planning, development and management. • To co-ordinate consolidation and production on a timeous basis the various MIS reports and returns required by the business and quality analysis to facilitate the appropriate short and long term strategic planning for all Value Centers. •Identify opportunities for efficiency maximization and growth within the distribution network and provide analysis and insights for implementation •Define business processes in terms of information needs for performance •Responsible for adopting and migrating best practices from / to the other Retail Clients regions. 1.Business Intelligence •Manage a team of analysts as solid-line report, and develop them technically as experts in their field. •Develop processes that support the efficient running of SBIM. •Participate in customer segmentation, acquisition targeting and behavior modeling efforts. •Identify opportunities & support business case development. •Constantly work on identifying the areas for application enhancements to meet business needs, enhance controls and improve productivity (e.g. fee leakages). •Identify opportunities within the various channels for efficiency improvement. •Develop and automate performance-tracking methods for assessment of all branch performance indicators for circulation to branch Managers. 2.MIS •Develop and implement Management Information Systems to closely monitor business growth, revenue and profitability changes, cost management and to guide in new business/channel development opportunities. •Be responsible for data integrity by taking reasonable measures to ensure that information provided to the business is based on data that is accurate, complete and current. •Ensure timely provision of periodic relevant performance figures for Retail Clients Division. •Develop a framework for assessment of the performance of the various Retail Clients Divisions. •Ensure data quality, data cleansing, and data scrubbing and drive the data definition process. •Empower end-users to get the data they need quickly and gradually improve their ability to analyze data. •Contribute to strategic channel management by analyzing and interpreting channel MIS data and providing this analysis and interpretation. 3.Adhoc/Tactical Analysis •Data extraction as and when required by the business and preparation of special reports for use during performance reviews, workshops and conferences | |
