3.MECHANICAL FITTER 

3.1.Main Purpose of the Job 

To provide maintenance service including installation, repair and servicing of equipment to ensure optimal availability and utilization in accordance with service delivery standards and schedules. 

3.2.Key Performance Areas

The successful candidate will be responsible for among other things:

•Repairs and maintenance
•"Right first time repairs" (quality of work)
•Adherence to safety procedures
•Manual dexterity and ability to work with hand power tools
•Availability of records and documents
•Customer service

3.3.Qualifications

•National Craft Certificate (NCC) in mechanical fitting or equivalent

3.4.Experience

•2 years experience in mechanical fitting work in an intense maintenance oriented environment.

3.5.Competencies

•Attention to details
