Financial Accountant - Botswana

The role

• To manage and control information to various stakeholders:
• Report financial information to internal management.
• Invoicing and Orders
• Oversee receiving and dispatch
• Debtors control
• Cash book
• Local and foreign creditors and Treasury Department
• Fixed asset control
• Implementation and Enforcing of Internal Controls
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting
• Responsible for all aspects of the finance department
• Inventory Control

Your profile

• BotswanaNationals/Citizens will only be considered for this position
• Diploma / Degree in Financial Management/Financial Accountant
• Postgraduate Qualification or Part Qualification - CA/ACCA or similar
• Valid driver's license
• Proven competence in Microsoft applications - advanced in Excel
• Business language requirement
• People management skills
• At least 3-year's experience in the financial department
• Ability to delegate
• Deadline driven – very tight schedule
• Good communication skills
• Motivated and ability to work under pressure
• Must be willing and able to travel in and out of country
