Sandvik seeks:

Field Service Technician X2

The role

To service and/or maintain Trackless Mining Equipment through:

• Machine availability
• Customer relation
• Safety, health and environmental effectiveness

This service is rendered to Sandvik Mining and Construction clients (internal and external) on and off mine site, according to Sandvik Mining and Construction requirements and equipment specifications.

Your profile

• Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent qualification
• Trade Certificate of Competence (Diesel Mechanic, Auto Electrician, Millwright, Electrician)
• Minimum 2 year experience working as Field Service Technician with proven competence as Earthmoving Equipment Technician
• Basic Computer literacy
• Own set of tools
• English proficiency
• Code 08 licence
• Full physical & medical certificate to work in mining environment

Experience in:

• Faul finding, electro hydraulic &auto electrical
• Underground/surface mining environment
• Maintenance of earthmoving equipment in mining/construction environment
• Must have Sandvik experience on DS 311 Bolters, DD320 Drill Rigs, 517 & 0010
• LHD's and TH550 Dump Trucks.

Northern Cape Area, Site: Black Mountain Mine
