HEAD OF RETAIL

Job Summary:
Reporting to the Bifm CEO, the candidate is responsible for formulating and implementing the retail sales strategy for the Bifm Unit Trusts business.

Requirements

Key Performance Areas:

Business Growth

• Growth of assets under management
• Design and drive cross country sales campaigns
• Arrange presentations or workshops on financial literacy including collective invesments undertakings

Marketing

• Full custodian of the Bifm Unit Trusts Brand
• Design and implementation of the marketing & distribution strategy
• Competitor analysis and deep knowledge of consumer trends
• Product development

Leadership, Training and Performance Management

• Responsible for the Departmental scorecard
• Monitoring and management of sales and distribution networks (Brokers, agents etc)
• Sales staff performance management and monitoring
• Staff training and continuous professional development
• Relationship management and ensuring adherence to Service Level Agreements

Qualifications & Work Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in a Business related field: Finance, Accounting, Economics, financial planning, Marketing
• A Certified Financial Planner certificate(CFP) will be an added advantage
• At least six (6) to eight (8) years’ experience in sales and business development and/or marketing role, two of which were at a senior management level.
