Job brief
Our client is urgently looking for an experienced, hardworking, responsible chartered accountant based in Gaborone.
Responsibilities
• Undertaking financial audits, continuous management of financial systems and budgets
• Providing financial advice.
• Preparing financial management reports, including financial planning and forecasting;
• Advising on tax and treasury issues;
• Negotiating terms with suppliers.
• Liaising with internal and external auditors and dealing with any financial irregularities as they arise;
• Producing reports and recommendations following internal audits or public-sector audits;
• Preparing financial statements, including monthly and annual accounts;
• Preparing financial management reports, including financial planning and forecasting;

Requirements
• CIMA or ACCA qualified
• Minimum 8-10 years working experience
• Proven work experience as a chartered accountant
• Knowledge of current accounting systems and software
• MS Office and English proficiency
• Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Discretion and confidentiality
