MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Reporting to the Superintendent: Finance, as the Accountant: Planning and Analysis you will ensure the preparation and execution of estimates, quarterly forecasts and annual budgets including the preparation of Hyperion reporting (actuals, forecast and budget) and other supplementary analysis.
JOB OBJECTIVES:
- Co-ordination and completion of all forecasted and budgeted financial and cost information;
- Analysis of all forecasted and budgeted financial and cost information;
- Responsible for effective working capital management and monitoring working capital against set targets;
- Analysis for month end reporting where required;
- Ensure timeous submission of adhoc requests to relevant stakeholders;
- Ensure all financial reporting system descriptions and procedures for the forecast and budgeting process are documented to ensure continuity of operations and toward maintaining a clear, in-depth understanding of the forecast and budget reporting model
- Maintain and improve safety, health and environmental standards and practices; and
- Perform fair and reasonable tasks related to the job and working environment, at the discretion of the Superintendent Finance.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree in a Financial discipline;
- Honours / CA (SA) would be highly advantageous;
- 3 years’ experience in a financial accounting discipline and
- Licence: EB.

- Sound knowledge of financial management fundamentals developed through a combination of practical experience and formal training, and can demonstrate application of this knowledge in the workplace;
