PLANT ATTENDANT– HOT METALS (METALS PRODUCTION)

Reporting to the Team Leader, the incumbent will be responsible for the following:

Duties:

1 - Starts up equipment according to set procedures and monitors by observation
2- Ensure efficient operation of equipment to maintain the set production or performance target
3- Informs Team Leader at all times on breakdowns and operational problems
4 - Carries out all housekeeping duties in his specific work area
5 - Carries out all duties assigned to him by the Team Leader
6- Reports all defects to Team Leader
7- Assesses process problems and rectify and if beyond him informs the Team Leader
8- Decide and concludes on simple plant and process problems solutions on hourly basis by trouble shooting using acquired experience and following the procedure

- Form 5

Experience:

1 - One (1) year’s relevant work experience
