1.MINE SITE NURSE
1.1.Job Purpose
The Nurse will provide on-site nursing health care services to employees and contractors. As the first medical person to be appointed on site by Khoemacau, the Nurse will have an important role in helping to establish the future mine health service.
1.2.Qualifications, Experience and Skills requirements
•Registration with the Nursing and Midwife Council of Botswana
•A post graduate qualification in primary health care or occupational health will be an added advantage
•Minimum of 5 years post qualification experience, of which a minimum of 3 years should have been in primary health care. An advantage would be if some of this experience was on a mine, oil/gas or either industrial gas.
•Experience in Occupational Health, An advantage would be if some of this experience was on a mine, oil/as or other industrial site
•Good computer skills and able to perform nursing administrative and reporting functions
•Fluency in English and Setswana
•Excellent communication and people skills
•Must posses a valid class B driving license
The successful candidate will be based on site and report to the Manager, Health and Safety.
