Teaching Assistant - Faculty of Humanities Department of African Languages and Literature

To give course instructors assistance in the conduct of tutorials and practice and the grading of tests and assignments in African Languages and Literature courses (medium of instruction: Setswana and English)

Qualifications and Requirements

At least a BA Major in African Languages and Literature with a good 2(ii) (65% and above) and advanced standing in a Master's program. Preferably the applicant must have taken some undergraduate courses in Creative Writing, Popular Theater and Translation in addition to other Linguistic courses. Teaching and/ or research experience and other qualifications will be considered as added advantages.

Salary and Benefits

As per approved part-time rates.
