Marketing Manager , Botswana Accountancy College (BAC)


Reporting to the Head of Marketing and Communications, The Marketing Manager develops and implements an integrated marketing plan for all BAC products and services.


Duties and Resposibilities


- Develop all promotional material (print & online) using internal resources and external stakeholders so that potential students, agents, etc. receive accurate and reliable information on BAC products and services
- Develop and implement communications campaigns with appropriate media in order to attract enquiries from prospective students and agencies (adverting, direct mailings, newsletters etc.)
- Develop a reliable and accurate marketing information system (statistics, target market info, competitor research etc) to facilitate strategic decision - making for marketing and management purposes
- Develop and maintain a database of students, academic and agent contacts to facilitate customer relationships management and relationship management direct mailing to recruit prospective students
- Represent BAC at national career fairs, schools visits, relevant conferences and events and regional marketing clients to promote BAC courses and recruit students
- Manage the marketing and promotions budget in order to meet the student's target of BAC in the most cost effective manner
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and an annual marketing report to facilitate strategic decision making by management
- Publish a variety of quarterly, annual publications


Qualifications and Requirements


- Degree in Marketing, Communications, Media and Public Relations
- Wide knowledge and at least eight (8) years post qualifications experience of customer and business marketing and or Public Relations and Communications
- Strong communication and organisational Skills
- Exposure to other business disciplines such as project management, finance, human resource management and development through participation in a management team.
- Experience in market analysis research, agency Management and marketing communications.
