Requirements

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Reporting to the Group Service Manager and Dealer Principal the incumbent will be required to:
  • Manage the service department as per the Barloworld Motor and manufacturer requirements
  • Control varied activities at an optimal pace to achieve required targets
  • Ensure service CVP targets are met
  • Arrange and monitor work flow and capacity in the department on a daily basis
  • Manage the frontline and administrative staff, ensuring all functions operate at optimum levels
  • Ensure good relationships with the manufacturer, customers, new vehicle sales and parts department
  • Implement and maintain value adding processes in the service department.
  • Motivate, inspire and involve departmental staff.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  • BGCSE/O level and relevant tertiary education (Diploma in Motor Vehicle Engineering will be an added advantage)
  • Computer literacy (Microsoft and diagnostics)
  • Proven track record in the automotive service environment (minimum of 5 years management experience in the field)
  • Drivers licence
