Requirements

The Bank is looking for a seasoned, dynamic, highly-driven Real Estate individual with strong leadership skills to undertake the role Head of Group Real Estate. The incumbent will be responsible for delivering the GRES Strategy and provide leadership to the GRES function through researching and implementing the best practices to meet the customers’ needs. The incumbent will also be responsible for implementing continuous improvement initiatives in GRES in coordination with Head Country Operations with a view of ensuring efficient and effective functioning and high level of service within the GRES function.

Furthermore the incumbent will be expected to develop and implement tactical initiatives to reduce cost and ensure that budget for GRES is met, ensure that throughput is maximised throughout Shared Services by implementing principles of Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma and strategic sourcing principles, sustainably reduce the overall cost of purchasing in all categories, while meeting chosen levels of quality and risk and to procure products and services in a cost effective manner with a focus on price, quality, supply and demand..

The successful incumbent will be responsible for identifying and defining strategic and tactical GRES performance metrics geared towards meeting business objectives by leveraging opportunities, ensuring alignment to the Customer Value Propositions, Service Level Agreements and benchmark targets through constant monitoring and evaluation of GRES’ performance to ensure a high-level of service for our customers

To be considered for this position, you will need to have at least a degree in Engineering, Real Estate Management or Business Management. At least seven years’ experience at senior management level is required for this position. A Master’s Degree and Experience in Banking will be an added advantage.
