Its mission is to serve the microfinance industry through investment intermediation services. The company provides innovative business services to investors and practitioners of micro- and small enterprise development.

About the Job: 
Symbiotics is seeking an Intern to join the Research and Analysis team in Geneva for 6 months.

Tasks and Responsibilities: 

• Provide support in data collection, analysis and publication of the annual microfinance investment vehicle survey;
• Update, maintain, and monitor part of the organization's online platform for microfinance and small enterprise impact investments;
• Support and review monthly/quarterly communication materials;
• Provide research support;
• Provide marketing support.

Qualifications: 

• University degree in Social Sciences;
• Familiarity with economics/accounting;
• Interest in microfinance;
• Good knowledge of Excel/Word/Power Point;
• Excellent written and oral skills in English. French an asset;
• Knowledge of Russian or Spanish would be an advantage.
