1.INVENTORY CONTROLLER: REF; FS/03
1.1.Main Purpose of the Job
•To assist the Manager, Procurement & Stores to ensure that the procurement and disposal functions respond to the needs of the University and are compliant with the needs of the University and are compliant with the Procurement and Asset Disposal Policy.
•To ensure that the University's inventory management strategy (with the aim of controlling costs within budgetary limits, generating savings, rationalizing inventory and maximizing available working capital) is in place.
1.2.Qualifications & Experience
•A degree in Materials Management
•Membership of professional institution such as CIPS would be an added advantage
•At least 3 years experience in supplies and materials management and/or logistical services in a computerized accounting and procurement environment.
