1.SALES & MARKETING OFFICER
1.1. The Role
We are looking for an individual who is passionate about travel, Sales & Marketing Officer. You will manage travel requirements made for business or holiday and you will provide tourism related services and package tours on behalf of our suppliers. The goal is to attract new clients and keep existing clients satisfied and loyal for future services.
1.2. Qualifications & Experience
The right candidate will be in possession of a minimum of a Diploma in Sales, marketing, tourism or related area with 3-5 years in Sales and Marketing, preferably in the tourism and travel industry. The candidate should have:
1.3.Duties and Accountabilities
•Designing and developing tour packages.
•Determining an itinerary, arranging for tour escorts.
•Assisting the overseas tour operating Partner Company in developing brochure content and marketing programs.
•Making travel and accommodation reservations.
•Offering face to face and telephone advice to customers.
•Quoting holidays and converting these to bookings.
•Maximizing sales and customer holiday experience by suggesting upgrades.
•Offering excellent customer service, dealing with complaints in a calm and diplomatic manner.
•Keeping product and brand knowledge up to date whilst having in-depth knowledge of the company's brochures and destinations.
•Working to sales targets.
1.4.Required Skills/Competencies
•Excellent Sales and Marketing Skills
•Assertiveness
•Knowledge of the tourism industry.
