The Senior Administrative Assistant G6 position requires the following:
Specific Requirements:
- At least five years of progressively responsible relevant work experience, including at least three years in administrative services. Experience utilising computers, including proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and other standard software packages.
- In line with WFP’s Policies on Recruitment of General Service Staff in Headquarters and Liaison Offices, the successful candidate will possess the WFP competencies required of a Senior Administrative Assistant at the appropriate grade level and especially those of action management, initiative, teamwork and ethics & values.
Desirable Requirements: General knowledge of UN system administrative policies, rules, regulations and procedures in the area of administration and finance and experience in ERP (SAP) environment would be an added advantage.
Language requirements:
-Working knowledge/proficiency level in English.
Education requirements: - Secondary school education is the minimum requirement.
- Post-secondary para-professional training and/or certification in business administration, finance or other related area of work is desirable.
