MINE PLANNER
Job Summary
To develop weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual practical Mining Plans, schedules as well as monitoring and reporting of these plans.
Key performance areas
• Review of Monthly and Weekly Mining Schedules
• Annual and Quarterly Mining Plans
• Production Performance Reconciliation
• Reporting and Documentation
• People Effectiveness
• Safety and Housekeeping (SHEQ effectiveness)
Qualification and experience
A minimum of a Degree! Diploma in Mining Engineering or equivalent with a minimum of 4 years post qualification experience in an open pit mining environment. Thorough knowledge of mine planning software systems is a pre requisite. Experience with mining contractor control and interaction with other mining specialist is an added advantage
