The Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) exists to facilitate the formation of a democratically elected government by delivering transparent, free and fair elections in accordance with established legal framework for Botswana and internationally accepted principles and standards.
SALARY: D3 (P207,564 – P229,152) per annum

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
-To develop and review Civic and Voter Education programmes for effective delivery of electoral processes.
SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
-Develops civic voter education and information materials
-Monitor and evaluate civic voter education programmes, projects and processes;
-Designing of monitoring evaluation tools;
Conduct research for the development and upgrading of the IEC programmes;
Oversee the implementation of civic and voter education programmes;
C---oordinate the distribution of educational material; and
-Undertake any other related duties as assigned by the Secretary and the Commission.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Degree in Social Sciences (Political Science/Public Administration/Statistics/ Demography/International Relations). Short courses in research will be an added advantage.
EXPERIENCE:
At least 8 years of experience of which 2 years should have been served at D4 salary scale or equivalent.
LEAVE: 30 working days per annum.
BENEFITS: Optional Contributory Medical Aid Scheme (Government pays 50% and Employee pays 50%).
Contributory Pension Fund Scheme (Government pays 15% and Employee pays 5%).
