SENIOR LECTURER (with specialization in Materials Science)
Main Purpose of the Job
To teach and educate undergraduate and graduate students in an academic discipline and to build the knowledge base in a relevant field of the discipline through research and publication.
To administer teaching activities within the discipline and provide leadership at the module or course level.
To establish a national reputation in their discipline.
To be active in professional service related to their discipline.

Main Purpose of the Job
To direct and lead the provision and delivery of Information Technology Services to students and staff, oversee information processing; plan effective storage and retrieval of information for the University users; develop IT policies, standards and procedures, management of infrastructure, lead and direct information technology staff, plans for information technology staff, plans for information disaster recovery for effective and efficient delivery of teaching ; learning ;research and administrative services.
To provide management information and advice to the University Community on the adoption of IT standards, strategies and policies.
DIRECTOR, LIBRARY SERVICES REF: LS 01/16
Main Purpose of the Job
To lead and organize efficient delivery of services and resources to meet the information and documentation needs of theUniversity and all stakeholders in accordance with professional ethics, library policies and procedures; partner with the Colleges and Directorates in the development and review of degree Programmes; analyze their curricula and research needs, evaluate available resources against identified needs to select and acquire appropriate information resources; develop subject gateways for ease of access to customers; instruct students, lectures and external users to effectively use all information resources (including electronic) and access to virtual environments;promote and form sustainable research partnerships with other national, regional and international collaborators and especially develop strong research linkages with industry; establish priorities for future library development, and seek internal and external partners and funding sources, including grants, to advance the operations of the library.
