MATERIALS ENGINEER WANTED IN GABORONE

An expanding Consulting Engineering firm based in Gaborone invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the under-mentioned position.

MATERIALS ENGINEER
The candidate must also be conversant with standard testing practices and procedures in roads projects and also conversant with the administration of contracts (especially FIDIC) and resolution of contractual disputes. In addition, candidates will be expected to be familiar with the local specification of roadworks and bridges and have a working knowledge of local road construction on material.

Requirements
Candidate must possess a minimum academic qualification of BSc/BEng Degree and at least Fifteen (15) years post-graduate experience and must have worked in roads projects in the past Eight (8) years in developing world.

Candidates with professional registration will be given preference.
