SOCIAL INVESTMENT AND SUSTAINABILITY MANAGER
Purpose of Role
To drive the social investment, youth skills development and community engagement strategy of De Beers Global Sightholder Sales within the Corporate Affairs Department.
To drive the social investment, youth skills development and community engagement strategy of De Beers Global Sightholder Sales within the Corporate Affairs Department.
This role will be required to engage,assess and implement community enablement and upliftment initiatives focused on social investment and sustainability in Botswana and the region.
Experience
●Proven track record of successful strategy development and project management of social investment initiatives over a period of at least 3 years.
●A minimum of 5 years' experience in the management of social investment initiatives.
●A proven track record in the development of comprehensive reports for executive and leadership teams.
●A proven track record of engagement with youth, the community, cooperatives and NGOs.
●In depth understanding of the community environment in Botswana.
●Experience in the implementation of enterprise development programmes would be an advantage
●Experience in stakeholder engagement
●Ability to demonstrate engagement of local community

SECURITY COMPLIANCE & CONTROL OFFICER
Purpose of Role
The main purpose of this role is to engage in activities aimed at ensuring the quality of delivery of physical security, CCTV surveillance, access control and personnel security within DBGSS.

The individual is required to use materials, equipment, tools, information and energy to turn inputs into outputs along a known pathway
Skills /Knowledge
●Excellent communication, organisational and numeric literacy skills
●Good understanding of CCTV surveillance methodologies and protocols
●Proven experience of configuring and administering access control systems
●Awareness of risk management techniques and methodology
●Ability to use Microsoft excel and Ms Project
●Working knowledge of alarm systems
●Experience in building effective relationships across cultures and organisations
●Team player

Qualifications and Experience
●BGCSE
●Certification in CCTV surveillance with proven experience of surveillance techniques and methodology will be a distinct advantage
●Good understanding of legislation pertaining to CCTV surveillance on regard to data protection and human rights
●Considerable and proven experience of configuring and administering access control systems
●Certification in CCTV surveillance with proven experience of surveillance techniques and methodology will be a distinct advantage
