TRAINEE CHARTERED ACCOUNTANT

Overview

We are always on the lookout for bright, young minds to grow our talent pipeline. The COUNT CA experience is a one-day development initiative. COUNT CA is designed to help soon-to-be qualified Chartered Accountants gain insight into the exciting world of Corporate and Investment Banking, while also giving them the chance to explore the career opportunities therein.

Requirements

Candidates will gain insight into the world of Investment Banking for a duration of 12 months in South Africa and thereafter be permanently placed in RMB Botswana. Interested candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Soon-to-be qualified CA (less than six months, post-articles)
• Third year Article Clerk
• First time pass Board I, as a minimum and first time pass Board II, if applicable
• General knowledge and understanding of business, industry and the macroeconomic environment
• Interest in Corporate and Investment Banking
• Strong academics would be an advantage

Dates

The day is designed to open up candidates’ minds to future career avenues that can be explored as CAs in a Corporate and Investment bank.

COUNT will be on the following dates:

• Cape Town — 10 May 2017
• Durban — 17 May 2017
• Johannesburg — 01 June 2017.
