MAINTENANCE ARTISAN AUTO ELECTRICIAN

Job Summary
To execute the installation, maintenance, and modifications of equipment in the line of trade (i.e.
electrical).
Minimum requirements
 O’levels/BGCSE
 National Craft Certificate (NCC) or equivalent
 2 years post qualification experience or successful completion of the Artisan Development
Program (ADP) in relevant trade.
 Driver’s License
Key Effectiveness Areas
 Provides technical information and participates in the control of sectional costs by
optimizing resource utilization in area of work.
 Maintains equipment using appropriate maintenance technologies to ensure optimum
equipment availability and reliability.
 Carries out scheduled/non-scheduled installations, repairs and overhauls in compliance
with engineering standards and procedures.
 Provides feedback to the supervisor on work-in-progress to ensure effective workflow.
 Plans for work to be done.
 Attends to all administrative functions, taking cognizance of the need to create a clear
audit trail.
 Adheres to all safety health & environmental policies and procedures as well as Mines,
Quarries, Works and Machinery Act in area of responsibility.
