CLAIMS NEGOTIATOR
Permanent Position, Gaborone,Botswana

Job Description
Provide quality claims negotiating outcomes for the Botswana Claims function through effective and efficient claims negotiations and finalization of claims.

Key Performance Areas
QUALITY SERVICE DELIVERY
●Provide customer service in line with quality and performance standards.
●Gather feedback on customer satisfaction
●Proactively suggest improvements in customer service and relations where applicable

GOVERNANCE & COMPLIANCE
●Adhere to all financial requirements and ensure cost control
●Adheres to governance controls

CLAIMS MANAGER
●Answers telephone and email quiries from the brokers based on updated logs
● analyse claims and confirm cover
●Draft rejection letter if claim is rejected
●Capture /register claims
●settle claims
●recover 3rd party claims
●update e-log notes

PERSONAL EFFECTIVENESS

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
●Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
●Relevant legal recoveries and banking /insurance experience
●2 -5 years' work experience in claims
