Oxford Policy Management Limited (OPM) is one of the world’s leading international policy development and management consultancies. We enable strategic decision-makers in the public and private sector to identify and implement sustainable solutions for reducing social and economic disadvantage in low- and middle-income countries.
OPM are now seeking at least two and up to four Non-Executive Directors to join their board. Experience is sought in a broad range of areas, full details of which are included in the Appointment Brief but include experience of working in a consulting business and experience of overseeing transformational change in a complex and geographically dispersed organisation. Financial expertise, a track record of operating within developing countries or experience of working in academia are other skills-sets that would be particularly valued. Candidates should be intellectually rigorous and able to contribute to strategic planning. All board members are expected to articulate and represent the values of the organisation, provide challenge and support to the Managing Director, and maintain a proper balance between the interests of OPM’s various stakeholders.
The time commitment sought is in the region of 15 days a year. This includes four two-day Board meetings, a separate one-day strategy meeting, and the two-day ‘OPM Campus’ meeting.
