Raise Boring Field Service Technician

The role

The required fields service technician needs to be able to travel to our client site to install or repair raise boring equipment. When doing this he needs to abide by all local onsite and Sandvik SHEQ standards.

This service is rendered to Sandvik Mining clients (internal & external), on and off site according to Sandvik Mining and client’s requirements and specifications

Your profile

• Matric.
• Knowledge of Raise Boring products will be to his/her advantage.
• Competent to operate the basic mechanical service tools required to carry out the services to our Raise Boring reamers.
• Proven Computer literacy - Microsoft Office
• English proficiency.
• Code B licence.
• Certificate of fitness to work in underground mining environment.
• Experience in Underground or surface mining or environment and/or Mechanised Mining environment.
• Experience with welding and grinding tools and certification for this will be an advantage.
