VACANCY: NETWORK TECHNICIANS
A highly established Company (TONERS PARADISE PTY LTD) needs the services of Network Technicians for their various related projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Configuring, supporting and maintaining HP/3Com networks.
• Layer 1-3 switch configurations and troubleshooting.
• 2nd and 3rd line network support.
• Liaising with 3rd party contractors/suppliers/vendors.
• Ensure installations documentation is completed timeously .
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
• Form 5
• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Network Technician specifically on HP/3Com/Cisco switches and routers.
• Must have a good understanding of the following: Tracing and identifying network problems, configuring and troubleshooting, QoS.
• Must be able to work well in a Team.
• Good communication skills.
• Punctual and professional personal presentation.
• Able to function under pressure.
• Openness to learning.
• Analytical and problem solving skills.
• Sound experience with, and knowledge of, basic networking and HP/3Com switch configuration
