Chief Finance Officer Job at Orange Botswana

Duties and Responsibilities

Building a multi-disciplinary team within the Finance function and provide the leadership necessary to provide a return on invested capital, be conscious of the cash return and book income objectives of the various owners of the Company and evaluate both external and internal proposals in terms of cost/benefit to the extent possible

Publishing financial statements of world class quality according to local GAAP and IFRS, GAAP and Orange group guidelines

Making sure that the company has a strong internal control in place and an effective and compliant to company governance

Qualifications and Requirements

Masters degree in Business Administration/Finance or equivalent

A Minimum of 10 years experience in financial function of a service business, with at least five of those years in a telecommunications environment, at least two of which should be in a mobile telecoms environment

Knowledge of principles and practices of automated data processing

Attention to fine detail

Business orientation

Interpersonal skills
