QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
•Junior Secondary School Certificate
•Minimum 1 year work experience in the same field,
•Training on basic security studies,
•No criminal record
•Must be of sober habits
•Vetting/ finger prints record from Police,

MAIN DUTIES
•Guards and patrols the Centre property, premises and
conducts security checks for signs of intruders,
•Directs Centre customers to relevant offices and personnel,
•Arrests thieves and trespassers and hands them over to
police after consultation with Management,
•Seeks help from other watchman by raising alarm e.g.
blowing of whistle or phones the police in case of attack
by thieves,
•Checks items on all vehicles entering and leaving the Centre
premises and record purpose of visits,
•Records the names of all people and vehicles entering and
leaving the Centre premises,
•Check if all the centre doors, windows and gates are secure,
functional, closed and lockable,
•Keeping the centre secrets Secret,
•Reports any fire outages, insecure/ broken window panes,
doors, pipes and dysfunctions lights to appropriate
personnel including the police and fire fighters,
•Carries out any other duty as directed by Management to
meet the exigency of duty
