The role

Responsible for the sales of Cormorants’ tooling solutions and to increase our market share via Distribution & MTA’s

Key performance areas

Distribution & MTA main responsibility:

• Increase Distribution & MTA sales and market share.
• Ensure that Cormorants’ new product sales are continuously marketed and sold throughout the Distribution & MTA channel
• Monitor the performance of all Distribution & MTA continuously to ensure that the agreements are honoured.
• Develop joint Distribution & MTA specific campaigns to increase sales and market share.
• Encourage new distributors & MTA’s to engage with Coromant.

Tooling Solutions for the distribution & MTA channel:

• This will include analysing the customer needs to determine the tools required
• Propose possible customised solutions to the customer
• Consult with the Distribution & MTA client to ensure that the customer needs are correctly assessed.

Your profile

• Grade 12 or equivalent qualification and or National Technical Certificate (N3)
• Experience in Project Management, Selling and Machine tools & metal cutting.
• Sound knowledge and understanding of the Tooling and associated Industry, the business elements and the instruments required to successfully manage operations
• Knowledge and understanding of the product development process including needs analysis, product testing, marketing and sales, to enable the development of profitable products
• Sound knowledge and understanding of the products and services provided by the organisation and the application of each product and service
• Knowledge and understanding of the process of providing a factory or an industry with the equipment needed for manufacturing
