The Global Fundraising and Engagement Directorate exists to grow the people and money resources for the International Secretariat and the global movement. Senior Director of Fundraising and Engagement is a central figure and is seeking a driven and team-oriented person to support and assist with her busy schedule.

About the role:

As the Executive Assistant to the Senior Director of Fundraising and Engagement at Amnesty International you will play an essential role in enabling the Senior Director to meet her objectives as leader of the directorate. You will be responsible for providing a range of high-level administrative, personal and other support services to ensure that the efficient running of the Office of the SD – Global Fundraising and Engagement. The Senior Director’s work should be effectively supported with the appropriate service, systems and processes to maintain high standards and facilitate monitoring and reporting on work undertaken. Alongside this Executive Assistant will also provide full administrative support to the Global Director Trust and Foundations and the Supporter Engagement Team, whilst also contributing to the support of the Senior Leadership Team.

About you:

As the first point of contact for the Senior Director you will be a strong communicator, providing a high-level service to a range of stakeholders. You will be detail-oriented, be able to work at pace and to juggle the broad requirements of a role at this level of seniority. You can demonstrate the political judgement and discretion to manage sensitive information in addition to the initiative and discipline necessary to working with conflicting priorities and complex activities within a short time frame on a daily basis. You will also have excellent Excel skills with the ability to monitor budgets for individual programmes and the Directorate as a whole.
