1. INTERNS--‐2 YEAR CONTRACT

BoFiNet would like to engage interns in the following fields of study:

•BEng Civil Engineering/Building Surveying
•Bachelors’ Degree in Estates/Facilities/Property Management
•BEng Telecommunications
•BEng Mechanical Engineering/Advanced Diploma in Air conditioning and Refrigeration
•Advanced Diploma in Power Systems

2. NETWORK ENGINEER-¬‐3 YEAR CONTRACT

Reporting to the Network Operations Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for deploying, managing, and ensuring the ability of the network infrastructure technologies to provide
high availability and fault tolerance

Job Responsibilities

1. IP Network and Peering stability and sustenance
2. Identifying opportunities to optimize traffic distribution and work with Operations to make the required IS-IS, BGP, and MPLS and other routing protocol changes.
3. Monitoring IP network capacity and creating reports to track capacity trends
4. Developing and publishing standards for network configuration
5. Documentation of the technical architecture and troubleshooting

6.Ability to define, evaluate, solve, and present alternatives to network problems

Academic Qualifications and Experience

The candidate should have attained the following:
1.A minimum of Bachelor’sDegree in Computer Science
2.Minimum of 5 years’ experience post qualification work
experiencein resource management (IP Inventory,capacity planning and deployment plans)
