• Trainee Assistant Forensic Scientist – Physicist (1)
• Trainee Assistant Forensic Scientist – Chemist/Biologist (1)

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor of Science (BSc.) Degree with majors
• in Physics for trainee Assistant Forensic Scientist – Physicist
• in Chemistry and Biology for trainee Assistant Forensic Scientist – Chemist/Biologist
• in Chemistry for trainee Assistant Forensic Scientist – Chemist
• in Biology (Biostatistics) for trainee Assistant Forensic Scientist – Biologist
• in Physics for trainee Assistant Forensic Scientist – Physicist
• in Chemistry and Biology for trainee Assistant Forensic Scientist – Chemist/Biologist
• in Chemistry for trainee Assistant Forensic Scientist – Chemist

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB: (to provide scientific investigation services in crime investigation)
DUTIES
1. To perform scientific analysis of Forensic Evidence
2. To perform Crime Scene Investigations
3. To present expert evidence in court of law or relevant authority.
4. Prepares reports and affidavits
5. To undertake any other related police duties as may be required to meet the exigencies of the service
