THE PEOPLE’S REPUBLIC OF CHINA SCHOLARSHIPS TENABLE IN THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2015/16
The Ministry of Education and Skills Development invites applicants from qualified citizens of Botswana for five (5) undergraduate scholarships tenable in China for the academic year 2015.
Aspirants are advised that the language of instruction is in Chinese, in this regard there is a mandatory language preparatory program for 1-2 years.
The Chinese government scholarship covers tuition fees, basic learning materials, accommodation, living allowance, outpatient medical service and comprehensive medical insurance.
ELIGIBILITY
Applicants should:
1. Be citizens of Botswana in good health.
2. Have attained minimum of 46 points (BGCSE or equivalent)
3. Have school subjects in accordance with chosen speciality.
4. Be twenty five (25) years or below.
5. Have completed Secondary General Education (BGCSE or equivalent) in less than two (2) years from the date of this application.

1. Application stating one (1) preferred programme of study and three institutions strictly in accordance with those listed in the directory of Chinese Higher Education Institutions. 3. Certified copy of Omang (National Identity Card).
