1.2.Job Purpose

The purpose of the job is to provide technical support to the SASSCAL Botswana National Office to ensure effective execution and implementation of the SASSCAL Programmes and the science agenda therein. The incumbent shall also be expected to provide the SASSCAL National Office with logistical and administrative support to ensure timely deliverable of project outputs.

1.2.Requirements

•An MSc/Mphil in any discipline related to the SASSCAL focal themes (Agriculture, Biodiversity and Wildlife, Climate, Water and Forestry and Natural Resources Management)
•At least two (2) years research experience in any one of the SASSCAL thematic areas (Agriculture, Biodiversity, Climate, Water and Forestry)
•A clean drivers license
•Experience in dealing with donor agencies

1.3.Competencies

•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
•Results oriented
•Strong computer literacy
