LINUX ADMINISTRATOR
JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for the design, deployment, installation, configuration and maintenance of LINUX-based and virtualized server systems and software.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the operations and maintenance of Linux/Unix Servers, which include but not limited to Red Hat, ORACLE Enterprise Linux and Solaris.
- Provide Linux technical lead on projects in a highly heterogeneous environment.
- Provide capacity planning, performance monitoring, patch management and disaster recovery planning and implementation.
- Coordinate service needs with Vendors and cross functional teams, through effective partnership, collaboration and communication.
- Provide 2nd Line support for end users, and administration teams.
- Quality Management.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computers Science or equivalent.
- 3-5 years LINUX/UNIX Administrator Experience.
- Experience integrating, testing and managing complex virtualized environments.
- Experience with system hardening and security best practices.
- Solid understanding of Networking, infrastructure Services; DNS, DHCP and SAN storage concepts.
- Technical certifications such as ITIL and Prince 2 Practitioner will be an added advantage.
